The Atelier Fine Art Library houses a collection of 10,000 scholarly, out-of-print, and rare fine art books and catalogs from the early Middle Ages to the mid-nineteenth century, from all continents and in all languages. Catalogs cover historic exhibitions of all mediums - paintings, prints, engravings, sculpture, and conceptual art.
Constructed for the use of the public, the Fine Art Library offers a space for students and visitors of The Atelier to study and coalesce. Complete with a coffee nook and work tables, this state-of-the-art library also provides smaller exhibition space for recent Atelier instructor and student works and comissions.
Collection donated to The Atelier by Andrew Washton of Washton Books in Port Chester, NY.
Atelier Fellowship student, Zachary Schrage, renders Atelier Fine Art Library in watercolor.
