Thank you to everyone who joined us for Lana's opening reception, in a proud celebration of all of the hard work that went into this beautiful exhibit.

"I’m excited about this opportunity to show the work that resulted from my long-time interest in a wide range of coastal subjects. The inspiration for paintings in this exhibition mostly came from the Smith Point Beach on the South shore of Long Island, but my goal was not to document this specific location. Instead, I prefer to explore and capture the essence of the place: the beauty and energy of the ocean, the sense of space, the effects of light and atmosphere and seasonal changes."
